Bringing fiber internet to Sherrard & New Windsor: A game changer for internet services!

New Windsor Communications started the fiber construction as of May in Sherrard and as of June in the Village of New Windsor.
In Sherrard, we have completed the main pipeline and we are in the process of completing drops to all homes. We’ve also started drops and pulling main fiber in New Windsor. Our next step is waiting on materials to arrive so we can pick back up in the process of pulling fiber in both villages. Currently while we wait on materials, we are going to be focusing on finishing drops in both Sherrard and New Windsor.
We have also built a new remote CO building in Sherrard, set up a generator and completed a gasoline to the generator. All that is left is needing electrical equipment for the new building.
